Great Barrier-Across The Divide

For his second release in the Great Barrier series, Paul Harlyn took his influences from the American Indian tribes of the north and southwest.

The 14 tracks presented here reflect the cultural influences gleaned from his extensive travel to that area.

From the opening poem,“Dark Time” recited in French, with it's rich backdrop, to the groove track “Montana Day”, the CD is a 61 minute exotic journey.

On 3 songs, Harlyn's piano, keyboards, and ethnic flutes are joined by vocalizations that are wordless yet full of meaning.

This CD is the anticipated follow up to his well received first Great Barrier project, “Between What Is Real, and What Is Imaginary”.
